How do we create a sense of place and a sense of permanence during times of uncertainty? Studio Ongarato’s Co-Founder & Director Ronnen Goren joined “Mixing Uses, Making Places – What Does the Future Hold?”, a virtual panel discussion held on 5 May 2021 on the future of placemaking, mixed-use design and the role of public art, moderated by Stephen Todd, Design Editor at the Australian Financial Review.
Together with panelists from Melbourne to the United States including artists Emily Floyd and Janet Echelman; and Scott Duncan, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill Design Partner, the panel discussed their project work, design philosophies and visions for the future.
