Studio Ongarato Partners with Büro Ole Scheeren for Luxury Group Kering in Shanghai

Studio Ongarato partnered with international architecture firm Büro Ole Scheeren to create the exhibition graphics for an experiential space that immersed visitors into the Kering brand, its family of Luxury Houses and its vision of modern luxury. The pavilion was specially conceived for the second edition of the China International Import Expo (CIIE), China’s leading import fair which took place at Shanghai’s National Exhibition and Convention Center from 5-10 November 2019.

Presenting Kering’s brands in an exhibition-like setting, the graphics sought to provide a unifying, neutral environment whilst maintaining the qualities and uniqueness of each label and their craft. Inspired by the architectural forms, geometry and material of Büro Ole Scheeren’s pavilion design, the graphics act as extensions of the pyrite structures.
